A warm HuGG in Huddersfield

HuGG is a social group for gay and bisexual men, aged 18 or over, which meets at 8pm, every Tuesday close to Huddersfield town centre in a discrete location with parking.

Recently, Narvel Annable, author of the best selling books Lost Lad And Scruffy Chicken spoke to the group about his work and personal experiences as a gay youth in the 1960s. Warmly received and thoroughly enjoyed, Annable then signed copies of his books and provided a sneak preview of his current work in progress Secret Summer

At their planning meeting held in January, HuGG set its diary for the coming months. In addition to the usual Tuesday night diet of games and quizzes, the group also plans Saturday night trips to Leeds’ and Manchester’s scene, 10-pin bowling, and a weekend in Blackpool for the Pride celebrations in May. More information and full diary on the website, or phone.
