in the arts from March 2008
From Gaytime TV to Richard and Judy to a national radio show to performance club Duckie, Amy Lame has never stayed still or been afraid to tread new paths and take a few risks. This she did with her play, Mama Cass Family Singers at the Edinburgh Festival and, no surprises, she got great reviews and it had a run at the Soho Theatre in London and has since toured Oz and afar. And now it’s coming to the Trades Club at Hebden Bridge on Saturday 29th March.
By turns funny, moving and disturbing, it’s a bizarre tale told by a wonderful performer and you won’t want to miss it.
