Clonezone Leeds celebrates its fifth birthday this month!

Jon Bishop from Clonezone said ‘We are really pulling out all the stops to celebrate our fifth birthday in Leeds - it’s going to be one big party and everyone’s invited’.

All month there will be special offers in store - and if you’re feeling lucky come along and have a go at the now (almost) famous Clonezone tombola and help raise funds for this year’s Leeds Pride.

As well as the in-store offers there are two other events planned with other Leeds venues. The first of these kicks off on Saturday 3rd May. Clonezone are teaming up with the Steam Complex to bring you the first of a regular monthly ‘pants party’. Just come along in your pants and join in the fun.’

Mark from Steam said ‘There will be discounted entry for everyone choosing not to wear a towel but to wear their pants instead, also on site for the night will be a DJ to really get the party going. If you come along you will also be in with a chance to win some brand new Clonezone designer underwear - the fun starts from 9pm!’

The second event rounds off the month nicely on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. Clonezone join forces with the winner of the Leeds Winter Pride Awards for best venue, The Bridge, to throw one big massive birthday party! The night promises fun and games, spot prizes, raffles, free buffet and general madness. As always on a Monday Daisy DuPont will be on hand to supply a little bit of glam and glitter as well as camp tunes. Daisy said ‘You never know - I may even be jumping out of a cake!’

Jon Bishop from Clonezone said ‘We are proud to be part of Leeds’ gay community and we really hope that people come along and join in our birthday fun. Myself, Danny and David would like to thank everyone for their support over the last five years.’

And still with Clonezone, last month we told you about their latest range of completely see-through clothing.

Sadly, despite a great deal of public attention, the clothing won’t be going on sale as promised. Not because of an outcry about transparent pants; not because of difficulties in supply. But because it was all just a cruel April Fool’s prank - sorry about that, boys and girls. Although if someone does come up with a range of totally transparent clothing, we’d love to see the pictures!
