From picnics to balls, organisers of Huddersfield’s ever-popular annual Pink Picnic decided upon something very different this year to raise money for the summer event. The town’s George Hotel was the scene for an evening of entertainment, fun and everything pink.
Revellers donned their best pink outfits to watch local acts and Mr Gay UK 2008. Ball-goers were greeted by the Pride Sisters dressed in all their glory as they stepped onto the pink carpet for the most glitz and glamour ever to be seen in Huddersfield.
The event was was organised and run by The New Union bar and the Pride Sisters with over one thousand pounds going towards the Pink Picnic to be held on July 27th at Castle Hill in Huddersfield.
Organisers told Shout!: ‘It was an amzing evening and hope this will be something we will add to the annual “pink” calendar.’
