On October 23rd the whole of the Leeds gay scene is coming together to raise money for local HIV/AIDS services.
The first ever Gay DJ Relay will see your favourite scene DJs swapping venues for parts of the night. Expect to see them hot footing up and down the gay village with CD bags and laptops in tow along with the local drag artists and MESMAC volunteers who will be rattling buckets and collecting much-needed funds. The recession has hit the charities hard and some have been forced to cut back staff or even face closure so it is more important than ever that we all dig deep. Keep an eye out for the posters in your favourite venue telling you of the theme for this special night. Anyone in fancy dress will get a free shot with their first drink from each of the participating bars on the night!
